A great campaign across the cosmos has just ended and the and the Pantheon fleet are in docking to refuel and for all involved to take much needed rest.

Captain Elias Riggs of the Demeter see's a faint distress signal from another galaxy on the radar, normal procedure would be to inform the admiral. Elias wishing for more recognition and chance to receive a higher position, switches on the Slazer's Engines and leaves the Milky Way.

None of the main crew, scientists or squadron are informed of said decision. In fact most of them pique something wrong, when they see ship leaving. They all know their Captain reckless, but they don't know anything like this has been decided.

Does the captain have family on board? I was wondering if I might play Captain Elias Riggs daughter, if he's an old enough man.

Captain Elias Riggs, does have his family on board, since he is the Captain, no one too young though and little warning, I left out a big plot point that will happen once we hit unknown galaxy.
